Less is More

Less is more in terms of laziness. The less you sit in front of the television, on the computer, or playing video games the more of a chance you will be doing something else productive. You could be outside participating in some kind of physical activity, you could be making something or cooking a nice meal. You could also be participating in a type of community service.

Ohh My Parents

My mom was in the band, played basketball, and ran track. My dad was the manager for the basketball and football team. My mom didn't like sports and wasn't that good either. Due to my parents lack of athletic skills I am horrible at athletics! I don't like band either, unlike my mom. I'm more like my dad. He had a new truck when he was my age just like how I have a new car. Only I didn't buy my car and I'm just now making payments. All of my dads friends wanted to ride around in his truck and every time I ride around my friends and I are in my car. My dad also had a job at a very young age, I have a job as well. My mom always had big puffy hair with huge bangs. "That was the style!! Don't laugh" she tells me all the time! My dad had short hair in the front and long, curly hair in the back! My mom lived out in the country at my age and we have recently moved about two miles from where she lived. Only difference is I don't ride the bus. I would like to think that I was better than my parents but sometimes that's not true. My mom got sent to the office a few times and my dad used to fight other kids at school so I think I'm a better kid that way. However their grades were much higher... (I think). My dad was very nice to his "friends" when they were mean or rude to him. My dads friends used to ask him to go out to eat and say that they would pay for the meal. They would go in my dads truck using his gas and when it was time to pay the bill at the restaurant there was always an excuse. "I left my wallet at home." "I don't have enough money." I have also gotten asked to go out to eat more than once with they same friends and they would only leave a tip and we would go in my car and I would never get paid back. My mom has told me "Get your money back Samantha!! You shouldn't waste your money like that!!" Well, I really didn't mean for this blog to be this long but my parents are an interesting subject for me to talk about. I could go on and on but I'm cutting myself off.

The Hunger Games

Dear Coach Ashmore,
I don't read books....EVER!! I ALWAYS go to the internet and just read summaries of what I was supposed to read the night before. This is the only book I have ever read when being told to. I have two favorite books out of the millions that I have read and this one is the #1 out of the two. For example, I asked for the entire Hunger Games series (three books) for Christmas this past year. Today is Friday, I am just now doing this blog because I have been so busy this week. Right now my stomach is hurting so bad because I am so ready for tonight, I can't hardly stand it! I could probably die of an anxiety attack but I'm not letting it happen because I want to see the movie so bad!! I now know that we aren't going to the movie during school today but I am definitely going tonight so, Thank you Coach Ashmore for at least considering letting us go!
Sincerely, Samantha.

Dear Jordan!

Dear Jordan,
I have written you many other farewell letters so I'm just going to remind you of one of my many favorite memories with you! Remember that one time when we were working and you were taking an order over the phone and you whispered to me "It's your dad!!" and when the phone call was almost over I leaned over and shouted into the phone "HEY DADDY!!" in a super high pitched voice!! AND then when you said "Okay who is this for?" and when you heard the reply you started silently laughing and looked at me with a OH NO look!! It turned out that the order was for Rocky!! Well we have one more memory with Rocky, don't we? Remember when we were riding around and I saw a guy walking down the sidewalk by the Ritzy Pizzeria and I started honking and rolled down the window and said "You know what I want for Christmas!!" And when he turned around he wasn't the person I thought it was (Dakota dressed up as Santa). And how the next time we ate lunch there that same guy was there and I said "Jordan he looks familiar" and when we asked Dakota what his name was he answered "Rocky" and we couldn't help but bust out laughing!! And during lunch you said "Hey I dare you to go sit in his lap and say 'You know what I want for Christmas'!!" :) I have so many memories with you! You have been my Best Friend for almost half of my life and the other half I was so young I don't remember anything so...You are pretty much in every one of my memories!! I love you and will always miss seeing your face every day! Good luck at your new school and :) I'm sure our phone bills will be going up... You the only person I don't dread talking to on the phone! I HATE talking on the phone but me and you can hang out for hours and then as soon as we both get home talk on the phone for another couple hours and I LOVE THAT!! Except when we have to hang up!
Love you! -Samantha(:

iFunny

iFunny is probably the best app ever invented! I go through probably over a thousand pictures every week on iFunny. I ALWAYS play two games or so of spider solitaire on my phone and then its iFunny until I fall asleep with my phone still in my hand. I believe the best way to end the day is being happy and iFunny will surely find you some happiness. I've even had a couple dreams about the pictures that I have seen on iFunny!!

Kitten or raccoon?

The cat has always wanted to be a raccoon since he was a baby kitten. One day web the kitten was chasing a fly he came across two raccoons. At that very moment in life he decided he was never meant to be a cat he was meant to be a raccoon. The mother cat gets mad everytime she sees her kitten dressed in his raccoon costume she gets very upset. The mother car has given the kitten several talks about being who you truely are and not someone you aren't. One day the kitten was walking around the front yard and came across two raccoons. He of course was dressed in his raccoon costume. The raccoons thought the kitten was a raccoon and invited him into their family.

So Much More!

On a peaceful, hot summer day my husband and daughters fishing adventure it would have seemed to be just a regular fishing trip. However, during this adventure they experienced much more than just waiting patiently and receiving few catches like most mediocre fishing trips. When Bryan and Kylee left I laid down the basic rules, wear sunscreen, drink plenty of water, don't get too hot, and be home in time for supper. I started to worry when they weren't home at supper time. Bryan, my husband would have zero service on his phone where they were causing zero communication between the two of us. I kept thinking of tragic scenarios of something horrible happening to the two people I love the most. My imagination was starting to go wild, I had to remind myself all they were planning on was fishing, so nothing too terribly bad could have happened. In the middle of grabbing my keys and jumping in the truck to go look for them, they came walking in the door. They were giggling and my husband was carrying a bucket of ten to fifteen fish. I still don't know the entire story of what happened. Kylee said "Daddy told me it was time to go but I wanted to try one more time and we started catching them like crazyyyyy mom!!" We ended up eating very little that night but used that time up to clean fish. I'm so glad they went on that fishing trip that day because something happened that day and changed their relationship. Bryan and Kylee have been much, much closer since that simple fishing trip. Funny how something so simple and small can change something so much.

Sight-I like to look at the sunset and the sunrise. I love how vibrant the colors are! One time I was asked one time which I liked more the sunset or sunrise and I couldn't pick. Last year I spent the night at Natalie's house with her and Macy. We stayed up the entire night and when it was starting to get light outside Natalie and I climbed to the roof and watched the sunrise.
Touch-I recently got a blanket for Christmas from my grandma and it is the softest thing I have ever felt in my whole fifteen years of life.
Sound-I like the sound of and orchestra. When I listen to an orchestra I like to close my eyes and just completely relax and feel the beats and sounds in my veins. I probably don't seem like the type of person to enjoy this genre of music and I don't listen to it much but I do enjoy listening to an orchestra.
Taste-Dr Pepper and chocolate are the best things in the world. Dr Pepper and chocolate make me feel very excited and serene!
Smell-I love the smell of coffee. No one in my house drinks coffee but when I'm at work I have to pour coffee and fill filters with coffee and sometimes I just sit there and waft the smell towards my face. The smell of coffee makes me feel very warm and distant from the world, funny how something as simple as coffee can make you feel that way.

Forgive & Forget!

The statement is saying that if you do not forgive then you will suffer not the other person. The other person has swallowed their pride to apologize and you should return the favor and forgive. Apologizing and forgiving make you a better person than someone who doesn't. I do agree with this statement.

Fly On A Wall

I would like to be a fly on the wall in the kitchen so I could hear what my parents say about me. My bedroom isn't very far from the kitchen but I still can't hear everything they say. When my parents are in the kitchen every now and then I can hear my name but that's not good enough for me. I want to know what they say about me.
