Money, Money, Money!

Our President is paid $400,000 annual salary. Cliff Lee is paid a salary of $11 million. Why do sports players get paid more than the leader of our country?? Is it because we want more entertainment than leadership? If we lost our leader to sports we would be in a ton of trouble. Sports idols should not be paid more than the leader of our country. The President also gets $50,000 annual expense account, $100,000 non-taxable travel account, and $19,000 for entertainment. Cliff Lee just starts every season with $11 million, he started his contract with $120 million and gets an increase on his salary every new year. Cliff Lee still makes several million dollars more than our President. Our country is big on entertainment. We get it in our mind that we can lead ourselves and do O.K. We need to realize it takes more than just self-confidence! I believe our President deserves more!

    aqui no Brasil os politicos fizeram uma coisa que deixou muita gente com raiva deles, eles mesmos aumentaram seus salãários de 60 a 120% enquanto o salário mínimo só teve um aumento de 30 reais é uma vergonha!!!

    I don't understand what you are saying. Hahaha I am very sorry! I would LOVE to learn more about Brazil though. I have a Very close friend, almost a sister, that went on a mission trip there last summer.

    Here in Brazil the politicians did something that left many people angry at them, they themselves have their salaries increased from 60 to 120%, having increased the minimum wage of just £ 30 this is a real shame!

    Thank you! Well I have heard that when Haiti had that earthquake their leader, whatever they call him, had spent every bit of their money to take his newly wedded wife on a trip around the world..Because she had asked him to. They didn't have Any money to spend on the damages from the quake. That's why different countries had to go help them, more than usual.
